I'm ready to start another "off the wall" boat to build while I wait (still) for the machine shop to finish the jack shaft for my motorcycle powered hydroplane.
I have a 32 HP jet ski engine and was thinking of building a boat designed around the RC model boat that is called "rigger". It's a hydro style that rides on 4 points. The engine will be driving a propeller rather than a jet.
I've seen many renderings of high speed craft on this site and thought this would be a great place to get a design.
The boat should be under 15 feet long, one seater, sitting or kneeling position.
Any and all designs will be considered and welcomed. Thanks

I already have a vintage hydro. It's a Hal Kelly design called Ben Hur and it has a motorcycle engine in it. Now I want something that's powered by a 32 HP jet ski engine. Something furturistic and wild looking that also has the potental of speed.

I had those plans as a kid (I'm 63 ) and they never got used. I was thinking of getting the plans again, but would rather do something on my own design. I looking for drawings of high speed boats with radical style, and all the while keeping it under 14 feet long.
