Oh hey Scott, I meant to ask you. Are there any slips available over by you? Also, you're in a 24' slip right? What's the moorage?

I'm thinking of ditching West Bay (docks are too tall to scrub the bottom) soon and was thinking Swantown.

There might be. I have a 28' slip and with electric it's about the same proce as Westbay. I would at least put my name on the list and ask for d dock. It is much better than any of the other docks at Swantown.

You should have enough consideration for the Seattle teams and racers out there.

Cheer on Braveheart, Coruba, and Artemis. Those guys are doing something that you can't/won't do. You should be giving respect where it is due. They will all be home by October and at Elliot Bay on Halloween weekend. Go shake the skipper's hands and say cheers. Matter of fact all the people you owe apologies to will be at Elliot Bay that weekend including Tripp Gal.

That's IF he gives you permission, Frank. Don't just lurk in the bushes stalking the guy, then jump out yelling "CHEEEEEERSSS!!!!!" or wrestle him to the ground trying to grab his hand.

Seems appropriate, as long as you consider Blue Margaritas, apologies.

"Kahn's new boat, the Transpac 52 Pegasus, had an ETA around midnight Monday night to secure its bid for the King Kalakaua Trophy for first overall on handicap time, currently holding a 33-minute edge on Roger Sturgeon's Rosebud and six hours on Morning Glory." see transpac site.

Cone of Silence is today's equivalent of Comon Sense. I believe her builder also built a few TP52s and was on track to build a 1/2 size TP52. IE a 26 footer. The notion that big boats are more ocean race worthy than small ones just gets harder and harder to swallow. It is traditional to root for the little guy in the US. Naturally her crew are not US natives. Bethwaiter's eh?

Kahn is our hope for a competitive US sailing team. Seattle just will not be getting over the Americas Cup design cheeting for decades. Watch and see how the mud gets raked up again next year. There are few fans for a boat representing any club strongly associated with Seattle. Think it through. PHRF-NW isn't trying to move its meetings out of Seattle for nothing. Tripp Gal isn't trying to get a CYC - West Puget Sound club going for nothing. To those following sailing, and any Americas Cup, which is just about everyone, Seattle means sailors that cheet. This hard lesson has been brought to you by Sailing's Progressive Internet and a lad that makes Seattle his home. I am no happier than Paul Allen about it.

You have to wonder if Kahn used his roller furling Genoa. :) Perhaps he will keep the TP52. Nope - I doubt it. He is more of the first over the line kind than first on corrected time fellow. Anyway, a professional now, like Larry.

Alaskan Eagle is apparently out observing. When you look into cruising with her you learn that much of the cruising under sail is motor assisted sailing.

Fastest Transpac ever - and the trade winds were mild? Its a new age for sailing. RC - yeah, his longest race ever.

You can't be this thick headed. Without stalking or giving the appearance of stalking, just be human for 10 minutes. Walk up to the guys and gal at the big boat regatta, shake their hand, say "nice sailing", or "good job today", or something equally polite and socially acceptable and then walk away directly. Don't discuss boat design, your boats planing ability, or how evil you think US Sailing is. Control yourself, it may be difficult but you can do it.

I did find out that TG did shake your hand only because it would have been bad form not to. If she hadn't then people would have asked and then she would have had to air your bad behavior in front of the people present. She is a lady, you have to give her that much. I probably would have poked you in the eye.

You can't be this thick headed. Without stalking or giving the appearance of stalking, just be human for 10 minutes.

This is Mr Anarchy you are chatting with. The Man, The Myth, and now old enough to be the Legend. I and my "minions" are truth seekers. The truth is that US Sailors are not competitve because of Tripp Gal and her kind and a system of patronage that says "stay silent and you will be rewarded, speak out and you will be punished." See this as the way of criminal organizations and see the truth. (Lift the Cone of Silence :) )These are the kind that would disparage ISAF changes to rules 51 and 52 that now give us IRC in the US. The thick headed would slow this progress long enough to sell thier old obsolete race boats and designs to lubbers who do not know better. I do consumer service by pointing this out. If there is no intention of selling the old race boats and there is true love of the vessel then Huzzah. These are the kind of folks I take my hat off to. But best I can tell, with the possible exception of Braveheart - they are looking to unload.

Walk up to the guys and gal at the big boat regatta, shake their hand, say "nice sailing", or "good job today", or something equally polite and socially acceptable and then walk away directly.

And you think I do not do this? I even ask for introductions. Let me tell you about Dick Rose and Barry Carrol. The former, I had absolute confidence in the notion of him being good for the sport. When he took time to chat with me I did what I am certain you would consider stupid. I asked for his signature on an article I had brought with me for that purpose. On Barrry, I had blamed him for the TP52 box rules and for IMS and the notion that only a big boat was appropriate on the ocean. I expected him to chat down IRC and was very happy to see his support. If Tripp Gal gets her boat measured for IRC, I will think better of her. She has caused me much trouble and continues to do so by not calling down her thugs. But I loose an enemy if I can turn her to a friend. Barry gave me his signature on one of the IRC brochures I am sending out to any who are interested.

Don't discuss boat design, your boats planing ability, or how evil you think US Sailing is. Control yourself, it may be difficult but you can do it.

First of all, I am but an amature boat designer. Second, I became an advocate of my ride after critcal reviews of my web log, the most crital coming from Tripp Gal. Third, it is Tripp Gal and the big boat advocates that consider US Sailing evil. And forth, I am not addicted to Internet posting. Didn't I prove that on a bet for a couple of months?

I am a proud card carrying member of US Sailing and recommend that every US Sailor join and write me in as an officer at the first ever election to the board :) . This is Sailing's Progressive Internet and US Sailing has progressed big time by divesting of ORC and the big boats.

I did find out that TG did shake your hand only because it would have been bad form not to.

Oh damn - and I thought she was actually human :)

If she hadn't then people would have asked and then she would have had to air your bad behavior in front of the people present.

Trip Gal undoubtedly spread her views of me during the evening. Barry was thrilled to have anyone from The Society attending. He later asked me about Sailing Anarchy - something he could have only known about from others and I told him about the connection to Air America.

She is a lady, you have to give her that much.

My wife wasn't certain. Most ladies do not allow men to call them a Gal. Tripp Gal is NOT an IRC supporter. The best we can hope for is for her to get out of the way and resign from PHRF-NW so PHRF-NW can follow US Sailing and ISAF which they are duty bound to do. This means letting the big boats go. They have to take care of themselves now. We certainly do not want the big-boat oriented doing rating work.

I probably would have poked you in the eye.

You scallywag! You might also steel SSSS club records while my eyes are not on them - this inspite of having a dry boat - er meeting. Ah how it makes me feel young. Instead - how about racing Wednesday night in "my Series".

Still not a clue in sight - still awaiting your leters Frank.

    You first defender.

FYI - IRC and US Sailing are not related nor are US Sailing and PHRF.

Oh boy. Now I get to point out how US Sailing http://www.ussailing.org/ is supporting IRC. Type IRC in the search box of the URL. US Sailing is contractually bound to follow ISAF directives which included changes to rules 51 and 52 about six years ago. US Sailing could well have lost its status as the final US authority on the Racing Rules of Sailing had it not made the changes it makes today. These support IRC because IRC rates movable ballasted vessels as the changes to rules 51 and 52 encouraged. PHRF is required to support all the directives of US Sailing and US Sailing is the final authority on RRS for it as will. It is all unified. IRC and PHRF both have the same overseer, that being US Sailing. US Sailing is overseen by ISAF.

Mr. Kann will be joining the group in KW 2006 (With over 20 TP 52's now already out there do you want to re-think you no more than 20 comments?) Should be fun in KW and on the feeder race.

It makes me weep. The beating of dead horses Look. Mr. Kann will introduce changes to the TP52s that will make them not TP52s any more, if he stays with it. Changes like roller furling headsails if not water ballast and canting keels. I am still with the 20 prediction. How surprised I was that Cone of Silence ran in the transpac. I had no idea her owners considered such a thing when I predicted smaller vessels would be running the Transpac because this was the future of yacht design. BTW, she is at least a foot shorter than the press makes her out to be. Closer to 30 foot than 32.

The Only way there will be more than 20 TP52s in the water at the end of this year is if you define all boats that use to be TP52s as TP52s. Then you can not state that 92 percent of the TP52s race any more. It will be something not respectable for a race class vessel.

Next schedualed TP 52 event in the US is the December Series in FL 1 light distance race and 2 days of bouys racing.

Just stay out of the way of the truth and keep those TP52s out of the Pacific. :) This is all I ask.

Handicap rules are not a political party. You can, and most do, participate in more than one rule at once. The P-0 fleet in Seattle is not against IRC, US Sailing, or any other sailing topic. Will they go to IRC? Who knows? If the PNW used golf handicaps instead of IRC or PHRF the P0 fleet would still race.

When did you become a US Sailing member Frankie old boy, last year you were claiming the organization and anyone affiliated should be locked up?

It is worthy to note TG’s complete lack of participation on the boards that you post on. My guess is she doesn’t want anything to do with you. She participates on SA but your name is never mentioned. Apparently she visits with the other Macgregor owners and I’ll bet you 5 dollars your name doesn’t come up there either. You are obviously not worth her time. It’s time to accept that you are not the center of attention in anyone’s world but your own.

Handicap rules are not a political party.

You know this reminds me of that God Fathers scene where the wife of the new Godfather says.. But we arn't politicians because politicians do not kill people. The response from the Godfather is - now who is naive?

You can, and most do, participate in more than one rule at once.

Thank God. But lets not pretend that this one-design, PHRF simultainious racing is helping the sport. It is not. Saying - if you do not like PHRF just race one-design, is a form of shunning, of shutting out the newer faster designs, and of propping up the obsolete vessels so they do not have to compete with their betters. :)

The P-0 fleet in Seattle is not against IRC, US Sailing, or any other sailing topic. Will they go to IRC? Who knows?

It is a done deal. The first IRC race is already scheduled. I believe it is happening in 2005. Who would have thunk. Not even I would have predicted this, though I had hoped SSSS would have been the first. But, go CYC Seattle. And go all - get your boats rated. Put feer into those who think they are in control.

If the PNW used golf handicaps instead of IRC or PHRF the P0 fleet would still race.

Do you see how folks now think of golf as something you do after you find you do not race sailboats competitively. I did that. :)

When did you become a US Sailing member Frankie old boy, last year you were claiming the organization and anyone affiliated should be locked up?

Hardly. But I was reluctant. I had been fed the notion that things will never change at US Sailing by a PHRF Director. For a long time it appeard that way. What put me into the strong support category was the meeting in Portland where half the board tried to stop Sailing's Progressives and failed. Part of that change is that now US Sailing Members actually get to elect future board members. BTW, I would have attended the Portland gig if not for being advized incorrectly by a PHRF director that it was a wast of time.

It is worthy to note TG’s complete lack of participation on the boards that you post on. My guess is she doesn’t want anything to do with you.

She is close to being ruled out by rule 69 is my guess. Do you really want to chat about it? Lets not.

Yes there will be an IRC scoring component at PSSC, but it isn't known who will be participating at this time. That doesn't mean the P0 fleet will be participating as such. Clean the earwax out of your ears before you skulk around the edges of conversations Frankie.

TG hasn't done a thing to warrant a sporstmanship protest, quit the libelous claims. Innuendo to discredit such an active, supportive member of sailing is bad form. If anyone has a case she, Teeters, and Farr have one against you.

Funny that he keeps talking about Barry Carroll, I heard from a friend that he went to the IRC meeting in Seattle but not even stay for the presentation. He went in was introduced and then sat by himself until leaving before the meeting actually began. Maybe he knows so much about IRC he did not need to go to the actual meeting. Much better to sit on the edge of a social gathering and interpret what the conversations that you are not a part of should mean.

All this mean and hateful lying coming from someone with the ethics that allows them to bill hours to a customer while spending his time trolling here. Better yet he is billing hours to a state agency and using their resources. This agency is one that is supposed to have a shortage of funds to take care of the workload they in in caring for chilren and disabled people. He would actually steal from a child or a retarded person for his own gratification. This is the type of person we are dealing with and people wonder why he invokes so much bitter response. It is because he deserves it. He claims the moral high ground supposedly all the while he is stooping to a level that makes even convicted criminals wince.

Go ahead Mighetto, deny you are using a government network, deny you are doing this during business hours. Remember the administrators of several sites have already had to ban the state of Washington addresses.

Oh and fell free to bring out your tired old threats of Internet terrorism too, I still have the specifics regarding libel and copyright infringement for you.

I had a meeting with a BMW club. They had just returned from a trip down the silk road in China and I was to make a pitch about Valincia Spain. If any are interested in containering a bike or boat to the AC, get in touch. Anyway, there was little I could do. I did apologize profusely.

Wow - enjoy today - it is a day out of time :) When you run for office you have to expect the above. Fortunately it is not allowed on Sailing Anarchy any more.

What the - AFAIK all nude sites are banned from state of Washington addresses. FYI, I have permision from the State of Washington to use the Internet. Why would you think otherwise? And why would you think it takes a lot of time to post the truth. It is easy and takes little time to post fact, explain assumptions and draw conclusions. It is difficult and time consuming to invent lie, create spin, feed the willing, grow mushrooms and sell the lubbers TP52s.

Again, Member in good standing of the Seattle Better Business Bureau. Mighetto & Associates. But you must use US Mail. Mail Fraud laws are well established. It is still the wild west here on the Internet.
