Good thing about a nightmare is when you wake up, you realise everything is okay!

Water in the tank is the LAW in the USA.

The garbage gas with ethanol required by the feds will absorb water right out of the air.

leave it for a month or more and you have problems.

Our solution for IO boats and gas motorhomes is a pump and a GLASS 5 gal jug.

THe crap from the bottom of the tank is pumped into the jug , left to sit for a day or two, and the gas above the water line is returned to the boat.

A slow job with a plastic hand pump , but easier with a 12v fuel pump and long thin hoses to poke into the bottom corners of the tanks , and transfer to the jug(s) on the ground.

It would be nice if we could put an end to that requirement after November.

then that E10 gas that you got the water out of has lost its Ethanol and the octane drops a couple points and makes the engine run much poorer.

How is E10 fuel saving us any fosiil fuel if your engine gets 10% less mileage?
It is a boondoggle, a green scam.
