And it is your right to enjoy that walk down the street or train ride, just as it is my right to enjoy driving my classic car, or building one of those designs I mentioned. It is when somebody else who "knows best" tells you what to do that you need to be worried.

Society truly fails when it listens to the one who "knows best".

what makes you think that building a train infringes on your right to drive ?????

I've never gotten why some folks see everything as an infringement on rights completely unassociated with the issue at hand

Personally I hate the bus. But its not any infringement on my rights

This state is going bankrupt, the city of Stockton is about to declare bankruptcy, they can't afford to build the train.

The point isn't that the train infringes on my right to drive, it's that they are using the tax money they don't even have to send the state farther down the crapper..
What happens when they can't afford to pay for police, fire, schools, or keeping up the highway/freeway system?

you should know by now I can't spell anything for beans Hoyt. Hell I'm lucky if I get my name right

ok so shouldn't you be mad about all that other stuff that might be directly related to overspending ? Somehow attributing overspending to an infringement on your right to drive just does't make a lot of sense to me.

I'd think that assuming they do build it, there'd be less congestion on the roads and it would end up being cheaper to maintain them. Which is likely one of there arguing points. Its cheaper in the long run.

Anyway I make no excused for the idiocy of politics, I just don't get it when everything equals an infringement on our rights or a socialist plot. I'm not a republitard or a democrap so eithers buzzwords and slander campaigns just seem kinda ridiculous to me.

That's half the problem, people are still hung up on political affiliation. Neither side is right and they haven't been for a long time. What we need is to scrap the whole lot of them and start over...

In reality, Boston, I think you've got it right. There are too many things that are distractions from the real issues.

HAHAHA, where can I get mine?

Ive thought of printing it but I'm thinking I'd get arrested if I actually put them out for sale.

I think I'll go for it cause its not like I'm working much these days. I bet by Friday next week I could have them available

How about "This fall, tar and feather them all" may be a little milder.

Yes it is milder, but since when has politics been mild here? Sometimes the candidates pop off with worse...
