The beam is calculated from the length, draft and displacement that you input.

For a Wigley hull the beam can be calculated using the block coefficient,
    CB = V/(L*B*T) = 4/9
    where V = volume, L = length, B=beam, T=draft.

    Regards,
    Leo.

    TrustedShips Mr.

I downloaded Version 9.20, which does not seem to work on Win 7 (64 bit). Am I missing something?

It works fine for me and many other Win7 64bit users.
What kind of error are you getting?

All I see is this black window with boxes as visible in the attached image. I can't do anything to that window. Even the close and maximize buttons are disabled. I have to force close through ctrl+alt+del. Am I doing it wrong?

Also this message about color scheme appears.

    Yeah, welcome to Michlet! :)

Now you can press "?" to get the list of commands and start playing with them. Or you can press "Esc" to quit the program if you don't like it.
But before you start (and then give up) I'd suggest you to read the PDF manuals in the folder "\Michlet 920\docs".

    Cheers!

    Oh! Thanks a lot.

I thought that was an installation error or bad license. :D

Now I found the pdf files.... will give it a try....

    :)
