Ciccio, I'm no boat builder but we could plank up a foam-strip float for a 38' tri in a day or so, over stringers. My understanding is that tortured ply (origami) is actually very demanding on workmanship as a slight innaccuracy with the panels has major effects on shape.

As I said I'm no expert, though.

 

I agree that slight inaccurancy must be avoided to preservate shape but isn't the same problem with switch and glue method or bigger boat in origami? for the moment i' m still modyfing the shape of the hull in hard chine , as suggested jago, and comparing various coefficent with other boat ... then may be i keep the construction in hard chine or if another bigger model give the same result may be origami ...
