I could not agree more, not only on this thread. It makes me wonder what the hell I am doing here actually.

It makes me wonder if I am being played with like a kitten and a ball of string. I certainly feel that way at times and ide rather accept that than the alternative which would be a serious education and knowledge problem in that big country over there on the left hand side.

Yo barny,-- visiting a port is not visiting the country. I ve transited in Iraq but that does not mean I went there. Did you even check in with immigration.

Only small ships go up the Cho Paya river, you have a bar to go over for one thing. Leam Chabang is the place now, the QE 2 can go in there easily.

If everyone is enjoying a somewhat off-topic thread, that’s one thing.
But if an off-topic thread causes fellow designers, boatbuilders, and boaters, fellow members, to start getting angry with one another or start insulting each other or many start finding an off-topic thread objectionable, it’s not worth it.
