Speaking of conspiracies- do you folks know that the brachiopods dominated, I say DOMINATED the benthos for millions of years?

Think how much simpler it would be for all of us if we didn't need to pry open all those tasty bivalves.

    Why the change?
Why couldn't we have kept with what worked better for us all?

I am sensing more dark forces at work..
Perhaps the clam knife manufactures have their hand in this:

We may never know the truth- but I have deep suspicions.

I think that is an avenue that has never been followed up, certainly not very well publicised. I would like to see evidence that all the flights took place, lists of the passengers and some follow up with their connections. Who is to say that the flights were not filled with agents and landed at a private airfield. I read somewhere that one exists close to New York. I also read somewhere that two of the aircraft are still registered.

Have you ever had to stand and receive that flag?
    I have

You seem to have abandoned compassion or not known loss.

Try replacing your idle theories with real and never ending empathy for those who lost loved ones.

I am very concerned about the innocent lives lost that day, so concerned that I would turn over any stone to find out why, and by who, were these lives taken. My point was that I had never seen any comments or investigations into the flights and those aboard them although there are all sorts of theories about the planes. I daresay the information exists, but I have never seen it.

You guys are absolutely retarded. Several people who were on those planes were friends of my friends and family. The planes departed New England (where I'm from). Someone from my department in my university even died on the flight, which I found out about by seeing a big plaque in my old department to his honor. I later worked at American Power Conversion for about 6 months and guess what? The guy that died from that company is right above you on this list.

Truly the world is inhabited by the ignorant.

I knew people who died in the towers as well, since I was living in Manhattan at the time. There was a meeting at Windows on the World that morning that I didn't make it to. I had a conflict with one of my customers and had to go to the customer first. Nobody I knew made it out from that meeting.

You weren't there and you have no idea what it was like to hear...no... FEEL those building fall... to smell the foul burning stink that lingered around Manhattan for days. To watch grown men weep like babies (as they were pushing a baby stroller/buggy) after losing their wife. There were walls 100ft long plastered on every inch with "have you seen my missing loved one or family member" pictures and pleas for help. I was locked in my apartment for days as the military and police closed every bridge and tunnel into and out of the island of Manhattan. Acquaintances slept on my floor because they couldn't get home (outside Manhattan) as helicopters and military jets thundered above.

    The strangest part of all?

It was an absolutely beautiful, sunny crisp cool fall day. The kind where you wake up all full of energy and happiness to go and start your day.

You are some of the most ignorant, retarded people I have ever had the displeasure of seeing posts from on the internet. May the same thing that happened to my friends and acquaintances that day happen to you and yours.

    Go F yourselves.

And to the dipsh*ts that were arguing with me about a plane not weighing close to a million pounds... look at the list of flights and names above. 767, 757, etc... go google the weight of one of those fully loaded. Man are you guys dumb.

I gotta get out of this thread before I get really mad.

Catbuilder, bntii, I sincerely apologize for trampling on your feelings. There is a lot of information that we try and make sense of and I was merely asking if a certain approach had been taken to understand what had happened with all the planes. Terrorism has visited us as well and I personally try and keep an open mind in trying to weigh up what is going on. I think I am entitled to that freedom, but I do regret that I have caused you hurt.

There are Crazies everywhere, and some of them are well-masked.

One of the guys I work with was born in Mexico, and obtained his citizenship by joining the US Army. I always thought of him as pretty stable and shipshape upstairs, until he asked me one day, "don't you think it's strange that out of all the Jews who worked in the World Trade Towers, not a single one showed up for work that morning?"

All you have to do to disprove that one is look at the list of victims' names....

Hate and racism are ugly things. No matter who does it. Maybe it's ugliest when we do it. as I suggested to Hoyt. Noblesse oblige, To whom much is given, much is required. Especially, Tolerance, Understanding, and PATIENCE.

I've been to asia. Not as a resident, just visiting while loading, off loading cargo. Been to Bangkok twice, Singapore once, Japan a dozen times, PI (both Manila and Subic) countless times. Taiwan once, got to think of where else. Guam, but that's US. Yes, Perth, but that ain't asia. Australia is Australia.
anyway crossed Pacific back n forth for about 10 years. Atlantic even more times more years.
There are Xenophobes in Mexico too. I've been told, "Vete para tu pais!"
I just laugh and respond, "Tengo dos pais. Tengo direchos aqui y ya."
Doesn't make em happy, but shuts them up.

Oh, and fought in Vietnam 68 and 69. Worst vacation I ever had!

    Almost forgot HONGKONG! twice!
