    Hi all,
Having finished my Glen-L Squirt build, I'm looking for a second larger project. Heres what I'm looking for:

1)I would want the boat to look cool (obviously!) and handle coastal waters as well as inland lakes and rivers.
    2)Around 15/18/20 foot length
3)Something with a large cockpit space so I can do a spot of fishing, but also with an option to get in out of the rain and continue driving along without getting soaked.
4)Powered by single or twin outboards
5)Built in plywood (stitch&glue or cold molded)

I've looked at the OVERNIGHTER (link below) designed by Glen-L, I like the looks but I'm not sure how practical a convertible top would be.

If anyone can think of any names of boat designs that might suit, please shout!

    Thanks!
    David

Looks similar to a Weekender, but I think he is looking for a motor hull

    I could have sworn that that site had a mini-lobster boat, 18', a Glen-L.

    18' cruiser

    Rudderman,
    http://www.cmdboats.com/rw18.htm
this plywood boat was recently featured in Woodenboat, and looks like a nice small cruiser. If the cockpit was tightened up, coaming increased just a might and a tad of flam added to the entry she'd be seakindly enough.

I'm afraid cool looks are in the eye of the beholder, but this design has different sizes and with a small windsreen and a canvas fold up- she'd be a contestant for your description.

    Cheers,
    kmorin
