    Hi,

I built the Glen-L squirt (a 10 foot mahogany runabout).
I made a website showing construction photos from start to finish.

You can check it out at sum-it.biz/squirt/website/ (website no longer active)

It was a great boat to build and Glen-L are good people to deal with!

Aha. So which lough were these photos taken?

I live on the banks of Strangford Lough myself, just crying out for a home-build.

Dave its Lough Sillan in Shercock Co. Cavan. Its a nice size lake, about 1 1/2 miles long.
I'm hoping to build another boat soon, maybe the "Overniter" from Glen-L.

Go to the bottom left of the page and click on "pocket yachts".

    These are nice home builds.

Yeah they look like nice boats. I'm not particularly into sail power though, I'm more of an outboard-man! I'm on the lookout for a nice compact power cruiser, something in the 18 foot range for use on the river shannon....and also something that wouldnt be afraid of a little coastal trip!
