    Stumble,

First I am sorry about the joke, I do not intend to offend. And on the topics you brought to mind, furniture is not my only concern. Another build point I would like to make is getting a boat you can be proud to own. I want to mantain a mid to low range price point (the proven seller at the dealerships Ive worked at), but the cost needs to go into high quality resins, cores and fittings. In my opinion, prices do not need to be driven up by LED lit blue livewells and having a hydraulic ram on every hatch. Instead, I would implicate insulated compartments and high quality seals. And as far as deck structures are concerned, sprayed in glass can be traded for encapsulated, wood cored structures layed in 4 ounce.
Now these are all things that an educated boat buyer is looking for, not something the everyday walk in customer would appritiate. The semi-custom idea, while commonly implimented in the yacht and commercial industry, has not seen much light in the 17' - 25' sportfish indusdtry. This is the aspect that I believe your everyday walk in customer will apritiate.
And as far as boat niche, It needs to be a crossover bay and offshore compatible base with emphasis on transom deadrise, another proven seller in the area.

    And Pjssailor,

I have applied at dealerships here as a marine technician, and several want to hire me now, is there a better job you think I should take as I enter the buisness?
