We'll be in Cowes from Friday through until Monday over the August Bank Holiday this weekend - doing the Cowes Torquay Cowes race on Sunday - starts at 10am down by Hurst and finishes near Cowes with the fast boats covering the 170 mile course in anything from 2 hours upwards depending on conditions.

Tested some bigger props yesterday and we're now going over 70mph with RPM to spare - need some flatter water and bigger props!

70 mph with rpm to spare!! That gives an impressing hp/knot(or mph) ratio. That puts you right at the top in my database.

    Well done!

:) Thank you and VT for sharing the build(s) from mold to water - a very impressive machine you have built and I look forward to seeing how you do in the field. How did you do at Cowes?

Sadly we damaged a trim ram and had to retire the boat at Torquay - luckily we are based in Salcombe so not too far to recover the boat! A couple of other small issues which are fortunately easy to work out and we'll be ready for RB12 next year (www.RB12.com) looking forward to it!

What are your plans for the moulds? Will you start production? Race boats or a more pleasure oriented variant?

    Here is one - [IMG]

The small album can be viewed here: http://s227.photobucket.com/albums/dd18/Cookee101/Cowes 2011 etc/

We are offering both race and leisure versions, both have the option of a partial canopy as the race boat or open top retaining the windscreen and some roof making it less claustrophobic! We understand that for casual users the security of a roof isn't necessary when you aren't racing, and likewise for casual racers who don't want to go with harnesses and air (compulsory with canopies).

Let me know what power and layout you would like and I'll quote you!

Guide price: Bare boat with floors, dashboards and screens £55k.

Well it depends - as we build every boat to order we can make everything fit your needs! A Vee berth in the cabin would make a great weekend double, and if you have the outboard option we could make an aft cabin from the inboard engine room making a second double :) The race boat is not really kitted out for sleeping on though ..............

m3mm0s rib Welcome to planet BananaShark! We have two of our RIBs racing in Greece by the way!
