pontoon powered by sea doo ( jet ski )

    Very nice.

    How is the sea doo connected to the pontoon boat?

    I assume you have aligned the waterline of the sea doo with the waterline of the pontoon boat with normal load.

    I also assume you allowed clearance for the sea doo to pitch relative to the pontoon boat if large waves are encountered.

    looks great ..making good speed too ....now here is a question ..in Australia would you need a jetski licence to drive it and can you go into no jetski zone ??

    cant say ! I'm in Canada and a no jetski zone dosent exist around here ! I think you should move here :D

    That is a great job, I sure hope it floats with all that new design, that is a really great job. You can detach the Sae doo and use it as a rescue craft if needed.

    I'm no expert in jet-skis but I see a couple of possible problems, poor efficiency and overloading the engine by an inappropriate 'gearing'. Flogging over-propped outboards is bad news for engine longevity, whether a jet-drive is directly comparable I'm not sure, but if I had to guess, I'd say it was.
