1. The Marketplace Forums can be useful for members who know one another well from forum discussions and offline communications and wish to post boatbuilding tools, drafting tools, molds and tooling, and other professional equipment for sale or trade. However, caution and good judgement should always be used. Especially when considering any business with anyone not already well known to you and trusted, due diligence must be used to confirm details and identity and be sure the transaction is safe before any money or property changes hands. Always use good judgement and perform due dilligence and follow these guidelines.

Mas I was waiting to see photos of your dead body being pounded against rocks along the east coast of Australia. Nice to see you are still alive. Nice photos too. And don't listen to Frosty. Yes, he is a lot more courageous than you.....much more of a sailor than you will ever be....and he probably has a bigger dick too.........but hey, there is nothing wrong with having some fun close to shore. :D:D

For those interested in cruising the Australian Queensland coast, the latest edition of "The Coastal Passage" is available from many Australian Marina's in hard copy and also online as a PDF document from http://www.thecoastalpassage.com/

I took many photographs, but what I have posted are those that "show the place" that pleased or impressed me in some way... Solo-sailing on the first extensive sea trials I was more interested in making personal notes on the boats behaviour, catching up on sleep, just being lazy... I may find a few more 'gems' to post as I go through the process of sorting out where the images were taken, and making a catalogue or the places visited...

    Richard,
It is not a matter of following along close to the shoreline for any other reason, but going where best advantage can be made of the prevailing conditions... I did play around some 3.5m plus swells as the oceanic swell and the wind direction were supportive of the direction I wished to go and I enjoyed surfing these 'rolling hills' at about 19.5 knots in full and easy control... - Not bat for engines that would normally achieve 6 to 7 knots at the revs I was running... Really boosted my average speed on that day...
