hey, im a new guy to the forum but not boats. from south GA but also have a house in SC at the beach.

the other day on the way out to do some shark fishing i passed this boat on a neighbors dock in the canal. i have seen boats in this style but not this small or aluminum? can yal help me identify it and tell me some info on it? how old would it be? who might have made it? does anybody here have one of have any pictures of a finished one? ect.

i really like the classy style and if i had some spending $ i def would had talked business with the owners but i had to carry on. i do hate to see it sitting gutless in a salty location though. if its there next time i might have to dock and talk some money :D

That feather craft is a neat looking boat. I'd like to have one too.

The one in your photo has the same rivited side strake and handles as the feather craft so that confirms it ..

    Howdy,

Looks like a Feather Craft DR, the Serial number should be stamped into the transom to the right of the triangluar motor pad. "DR" should be the first letters in the hull ID.

    Sincerely,

    Troy

I am being given an aluminum Jon boat with a similarly shaped transom but open bow, but I don't know the maker. I'll have pictures at thanksgiving.
