I am not yet sure if this problem is just in the marine sector but it is so hard to get information about yacht manufactering, design and consruction relative to production boats. Does any one know any specific sail boat companies which are open with their information? specifically information on the keel construction?

    thanks

It is not specific to boats. Are you asking about what are basically trade secrets?

the question i am asking is, what are the yacht companies which give relevant information about the construction of their yachts? in particular how they construct their keels?

Are you asking about ballast keels? The subject is really broad. Companies spend a lot of money on engineering. They will not usually be willing to give that information away. What specifically do you need and for what purpose?

I have been set the task of analysing a sailing yacht's keel using a program my lecturer has made ( it uses ISO 12215)

For this I need information about a specfice model/yacht's keel configuration.

Pick up any book on boat design and choose one. There are thousands of published designs. You are making your life difficult by trying to get unpublished information.
