Ship classes question???

    Alright folks,

    Just reading the EU directives for a piece of work I'm doing for my degree and was wondering how I can tell what class a ship falls into??

    In the safety section of the documents it states classes B, C and D with the option for either less than or more than 250 passengers. Essentially I'm looking to find out what class the current "Scillonian III" that runs between Penzance and the Isles of Scilly, falls into?

    250 passengers?? all of the passengers must be under 12 by ISO small boat standard

    I'm talking about a 70m ship not a small boat. Therefore small boat standards/MCA coding not applicable.
