    Hello everyone,
I am a student in University of michigan Naval architecture program. My team and I are currently doing a mega yacht project(L:70m). We were wondering where can we get a decent parent hull rhino model for a yacht. That would really save a lot of time. Thank you.

...I would have thought that being a student, the project would demand that you learn to draw it yourself.........grasshopper.

We already asked the professor, he said it would be the best if we can find a parent hull because the time given in this project is not quite enough.

Your prof will be impressed if his UNIVERSITY STUDENT said "My team and I".

    hmmm

I would go onto formsys.com.... makers of maxsurf and register for an academic account. They have 30-45 parent hulls in the model data sidebar. From there you can scale them in maxsurf in the undergrad design lab or on your own computer using the free version of maxsurf. Im going to guess you would then take them into rhino - orca 3d to do most of the control point alteratoins.
