I hardly hear of this hull concept, but the literature about it claims nothing but good to excellent.

anyone out there can comment and what would be the cons?

I did send Art Anderson a request, but did not receive any response, probably because they have the licence only for the Americas, and I live in Egypt.

The Next would be John Lund in Australia, but I have been unsuccesful in reaching them.

    Any suggestions?

Yes we own only the North American patent for the STOLKRAFT, however we can still help you with the design based on your requirments.
Contact me and and we can discuss the options.

I had lost hope about getting any reply concerning this option, Lucky enough (I guess) I did not start building anything yet.

I am still interested, and will try to send a private email if you prefer.

Following BrettM's suggestion, I contacted "Naval architects" who were very diligent in giving me their opinion and it appears that the stolkraft option that I was looking for would not work for me.

The Stolkraft design works best at it's designed speed, and since I was looking for a variety of speed runs (30ft sportfisherman) it would not have been the better choice.

As for Art Anderson, I suspect that Cool hand works with them but replies have been slow.

The STOLKRAFT hull is well suited for all speeds. As is the case with most monohulls performance is optimum at design speed. What makes the STOLKRAFT stand out is the reduced slamming loads, excellent stability at all speeds and low wake. It also can provide a roomy and comfortable interior.
I am a Naval Architect with Art Anderson Associates, and have been in contact with Mr. Gerard Baladi.
