tomorrow primer and paint on that side weather permitting. I have about an hour of fairing left to do then she'll be ready. Thanks for you interest in my project. Now I just have to get some caulking tools. It is a learning experience.

This image (an enlargement of your photo on the previous page) clearly shows wedged seams, not traditional caulked seams, so why would you want to reef out these seams? You can even see the vertical wedge seams. You better get a better grip on what's going on with this boat, before some real damage is done.

 

To those that have replied and read my posts. On her first real voyage something in the stern broke loose and she sank. It was something that neither I, the shipwright that helped me, or the surveyor caught. The problem involved the fiberglass tank that was attached to the transom. The good news is that all 5 passengers on the boat got off without serious injury. But one more ole' wood classic is now gone. Thankfully we fund the Coast Guard as without them it would have been a much different story.
