Doesn't tick the "ethnic" box tho.......
What kind of market is there for boats like the Child of the sea?
If minimalism is a cost thing - then people are likely to want a shorter boat?
How many people are likely to cruise with minimal comfort? How many people excluding single males...?
How many COTS have actually been bought or built?

I am aware of four that have been built. Two were built by Andy Smith for Wharram who donated them to islanders in Tikopia and Lapita. One Glenn Tieman built and is sailing in the Pacific and one Andy Smith built on spec and still has.
