Climate and weather are not the same thing. Weather is a short-term phenomenon; climate is a long-range trend.

The fact that you're having snow flurries tonight proves nothing in itself, any more than the record heat wave we had in Southern California last month proved anything.

A long range trend, heh? So you admit it isn't Rapid Global Climate Shift.:D

Nice try. But you're deliberately playing word games, and word games don't change reality.

Rapid and long-term are relative words. Daily weather is short-term compared to climate change -- and today's man-made climate change is rapid compared to previous, natural climate changes.

Still speaking of mythology as fact?

there is no mythology other than that produced by the corporate oligarchy who would love to sell you every last drop of there investment and then charge you another arm and leg for whatever is the most profitable to replace it with, while at the same time pretending that a 30% increase in atmospheric CO2 isn't going to effect anything.

"corporate oligarchy" - It just sends a thrill up you peoples' legs to say that doesn't it? Kinda like "military/industrial complex". Jeez, Bos - you're smarter than that but you're sounding like a "metoowad". Next, you'll start calling everyone on the right fascists for lack of an original word (even though fascism is a characteristic of the far left). The world hasn't warmed in fifteen years. The crisis is over but even were it not, are you willing to sacrifice Western civilization to make a miniscule dent in CO2 output? Good Grief, this is a rotting corpse of a topic.
I'll bet the jerk, Wad, wishes he had faith in something - Oh, so cool to make fun of "simple" people that believe...but very empty and a death blow to civil society to not. Can we find some protestants somewhere to rebuild this country? Some people that believe in family, believe right is good and wrong is not an option, some people that work their asses off because they believe God wants them to? No? Then the 200 year experiment is done.

Lately, Glenn Beck has popularized the notion that every tyrant, despot, and evil power or movement in history was somehow left-wing. It's an absurd claim on the face of it.

Despite what he says -- and no matter how many arrows and circles he draws on his little chalk board -- Mussolini, Hitler, Idi Amin, Caligula, Shaka Zulu, Genghis Khan, Tamerlane, Ivan the Terrible, 'Papa Doc' Duvalier and Vlad Dracula were not 'leftists'.... and neither were their followers.;)

Nor are Democrats and Obama somehow their spiritual heirs...

    Some(one) have changed their minds:

On the other hand; right here, we have "local cooling" (the coldest november since 1774 or something, like that...).

The last period, in the morning, it's been -8 to -15 deg C, I use my bycycle each morning to get to work... Needless to say; I'm dressed in a way that make me completely impossible to recognize... Shaving in the morning is rather unpleasant, when outside in the weather just afterwards... Kinda gets you to wake up.
