Hello, I'm VERY new to this, but catch on fast and have played with fiberglass, plaster, resin (obviously) as well as wire mesh. Just never all together. I'm planning on making a model boat hull (about 4 feet long) out of fiberglass and want a good beginners guide on how to do this. (From an expert) I would like a step by step explanation on this procedure. If somebody has a link to a website or other such documentation, or can EMAIL me documentation on this, I would be more than happy. I would buy a video, but I really don't want to have to do that. This is the internet. Information should be free. :) Anyways.. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

For a small model, the only way to make it light enough with fiberglass will be to vacuum bag it. Try the Gougeon Bros. website.
