    Nice looking hull!

Since you asked for comments, I'll give you my first impressions (but remember, YOU ASKED ;) and keep in mind while reading that I really like your boats and the drawing of your V42 on your other site.)

1.) I would like to see the main image integrated better with the layout. Right now it looks like you have one really nice image for print, but then it's just stuck on the web site rather than feeling like it flows into the rest (especially at a larger browser size). It would be better if there were more matching colors to pick it up, or the white lines flowed longer, etc. Or if you keep it as an image set apart, if the border picks up the rest.

2.) The cyan is really bright for me. Might be the flat screen I’m viewing it on, but it seems like it’s too basic or bright of a color for so much of it.

3.) While I've often found frames useful, they are generally considered "old looking" now, and they do look old with the default frame borders on. And some people hate frames for whatever reason (though with noframes content spiders like goodle are a little better at listing a framed site properly, some still say it will not list as well.) If you want to keep frames (though you probably don’t need them and because of different browser resolutions and not wanting double vertical scroll bars you waste some screen realestate) use graphics or CSS to make them look more modern.

4.) With my monitor set to 1280x1024 and a fairly fast connection, I wish the images in the slide show were a little larger so they would be even more impressive. But for modem or small monitor users, you probably have them right (I always tend to make things large to download for modem users even when I was using a modem) If you want to keep the load time fast, it would be nice if you could click on the current larger picture and get a 600 pixel image to pick up the details.

5.) I like the brokerage screen but I would like to see each boat’s “title” set off in a bold or one point larger font.

6.) I wonder if there is a mapping applet that you could integrate more tightly with your site appearance-wise - I don't know the answer I'm afraid.

    The boat looks great though.

Jeff, look at it now I changed the color, frames, and check out the directions page now. It's slowly getting better. Hopefully in a day or two I'll have a line drawing of the 36' Ugly Orca up, along with our new logo.

Just tampered with the source code may have gone a little to far. :D The site it's self is still far from finished. I wish I could devote full time to it for a week and just end it all but I cant so......

Jeff, I've used some of your Ideas (some are the line drawing of the 36' Orca the frames and the color) and will put more to use later on. Also is the color better or still off?

I'm sorry I haven't replied in so long...

Your new site is definitely headed in the right direction. I guess my only problem with the color is that I don't really like pure cyan, but I like it better now and I think it's fine if you like the color.

One thing I would probably do would be to get away from white boxed graphics on the solid blue background, especially if they are different widths.

    For example instead of:

(not that my versions are great - just did them quickly and I’m not sure I even like the ellipse at the top).

But I would try and pull the images together a little by putting them in 95% to 100% width tables with gradient jpg's as background (or a color/img consistent with each image) so they flow to fill the screen. Or maybe get rid of the cyan and just have the medium blue flow into the white, or get rid of the background white and have two shades of blue flow into each other and the white boat stand off, with both images stretching to or being the same width...

    Nice looking boat BTW.
