Wow Ajax, You're boat is almost brand new, 1968. You are the boats steward, and I hope she gives you years of pleasure. She's just the right size. You are getting some outstanding advice. Sounds like lots of fun.

I really am the guys on here know exactly what they're talking about. I will check my hull number this weekend. I know she's gonna be a ton of work, but I'm really looking forward to doing it. It's relaxation for me. I plan on taking a trip with my buddy, both in our Connie's, from South Haven, MI up to Chicago, IL.

    Hi Ajax,

A lot of work but can be worth it if you're willing to learn some and spend the time.

Don't pay attention to those critisizing about the age of those motors, most thing were invented around that time in any case, very few new things. Spares for those are still available and they are good motors imo.

The right people to see you through the project is here right online. Just look at their responses to see which ones. I know for sure Par is an expert on these boats, if he's willing to advise you, good grief take it !

You're still young, if you do the right things you will have a beatifull boat any one can be poud of.
