I have a 1973 Chris Craft XK 22. I'm looking for any literature or pictures to bring this boat back to an original. I'd love it if some one has some input. The interior is where my main questions reside.
    Thanks,
    Kyle

    Kyle,

Is there any way I could get a photo of the gauges and the interior. I'm needing to redo the seating and want the tuck and roll correct. I don't think I'll be going back with the optional shag carpet. Ha.
    Thanks,
    Kyle

We changed out the dash and glove box several years ago with teak, and put new gages and stearing wheel. The interior has been changed out a couple of time also. It now has a diamond pattern. the website www.xk22.com has some good pics. of boats that are close to original.

I was only 2 when my grandparents bought this boat (at the Tulsa Boat Show no less), but I remember the shag.

I also came across a company on the internet that might be worth looking into. www.howardclassicboats.com

    Chip,

Marc is the person who set the XK 22 website up. I bought the boat from him. Brent Howard is a friend of mine. We're having an ACBS workshop on Feb 26th at Howard Classic Boats. He is located on the south side of grand lake. Love to see ya there.

Chip, Is your boat the Austin Tx.? Mine is Tulsa. Marc has at least 50 pictures of her. Would you ever consider letting me pull a couple of molds from your data plates below the helm?
    Thanks, Kyle
