hopefully i have it under control can remove security fence but will mean i
have to go over neighbours wall and is a good chance to damage boat so will rather spend a bit of money and have peace of mind

Have done a lot of epoxy work .would like to start a new thread on joys of building a boat while sharing building space with a dog :eek::eek::mad::mad::confused: dam it is very entetaining . if you are not standing in dog doo you are trying to get your sand paper out his kennel

Looking good mate. How is the weight looking? You got an overall target? At this size 100kgs makes a big difference, so keep her light and she will get up and boogie with the kite up in not too much wind...

Thanks andy . specs say she will come in at 1200kgs and hopefully i will come in at that only concern is we only get 9mm ply here in sa and plans call for 8mm so i rather went for slightly larger than 6mm

    Haha totally brilliant :)

Reminds me of that story (also here in the netherlands) of this guy that built a 15 meter motor yacht, and splashed it into a small pond of water to test if it was watertight. But he couldn't get it out again, and all he could do was move the boat forward and back for a couple of meters. I believe it even made it to TV :D
The story however doesn't say if he ever managed to get the boat out.
