Need Information about small vessel stablity, please

    Dear All,

    I need your information about small vessel stability, especially for fishing vessel under 24 m. How the regulation or criteria stability for the vessel? which one must be used? IMO criteria regulation is for vessel > 24 m

    Does Anybody understand about stability of fishing vessel calculation in bad weather, and in sagging and hogging, or wave crest and wave trough?

    I need your resporn, I want to take this topic for my final assignment...

    GL rules contain stability requirements for yachts < 24m in I-3-3, section 5.C

    You should use criteria applicable to your boat:)

    If there is no an special regulation for what you need to know in your country (first thing you should check) you may use the IMO criteria for FV under 24 m. Quite common practice unless the boat is a really small one.

    I 've browse the book, and I really interest to read whole article/book. I ve check it in my library but the book is empty (not available). if only I can get the pdf....but I really thx for the information...
