    OK the boat will be chartered, this being the case I would be talking to the relevant agencies before you start anything. I would like to know what the case is in US.
    It was in one of your threads regarding epoxy selection, or building site selection, may also have been a statement rather than a question.

    here is the US the coast guard inspects and over sees everything to do with the build and any repairs etc

    i dont have any charter boats but have done several repairs for commercial boats around here and the uscg wants to see the damage and the repair before and after
    maybe one of the Captians will chime in uscg has very strick quidelines

    Uh... guys... this isn't a day charter boat. I may have a Master, but for simplicity, I run a term charter in 6 pax mode. I will have 3 double cabins on this one...

    This is my 3rd charter boat...

    No worries on all that red tape you're all unrolling. :)

    oh ok 6 pack boats are more lax then the larger boats

    Thanks. She's decent size - 45' loa with 25' beam.
