This is an IVB sea sled (hickmam modified) and its far more radical then the original design however its 23ft. and has a Merc. v6 135 what would be an appropriate diameter, and pitch thank you

That is a really lean description of the vessel. A bit more could probably lead to some serious response.

Here is a boat I've been working on for years, the development is nearing its completion, and Its powered by a merc. 135 v6 thats very clean, and it has a very low drag co-efficient so I was wondering what would be an appropriate propeller (pitch and diameter)

    Thank you very much

Ok, it has a very low drag.....exactly HOW LOW then (and how has it been tested/calculated), and what is the weight? These numbers are required in order to estimate the performance and with that, the propeller spec. Otherwise you keep guessing!

Its got a drag co-eff. that can only be surpassed by a 3 point hydroplane...

All nice but where is the hard data? beam, width, length, displacement, power, torque, space for the prop (clearance) etc. ???:?:

edited: well, the latter is clear its a outboard, and which one?

23.5 ft. long beam, width 5.5:1 At each I.V. point and perfectly flat at the transom, its 135 hp mercury V6 133 ft. tq.

I'd rather not do any guess work its an enhanced version of the Hickman Sea-sled its approximately 23.5 ft. long and 5.5' beam width with each hull reducing to 1 ft. to a fine point, and its completely flat at the transom...

Jaja, but where are your facts? Still need at least a target figure on the operating weight, is that so difficult to understand? You are claiming "low drag" without any evidence, that is the kind of unsubstantiated drivel that makes this business a mess! Be honest and use FACTS! Then you will get all the assistance you can dream of, because in this forum you find a collection of highly qualified professionals, covering all divisions of boating, but these guys need facts!

    Has not been tested

The boat is like I said, a refined version of the hickman seasled with efforts to eliminate flaws and reduce the drag, the boat has not been tested yet thats why I'm wondering what would be an ideal prop to give me an idea... We spent 8 years making this boat, and I'm very confident in the design, I'd show the bottom however, that would create potentiated patent issues...

Sorry, Fiber, but it's not a question wether we like your boat or not. You asked for technical assistance on a specific matter, and to answer your question we need some basic facts as you may have noticed by now......!

If you actually posted to get subjective opinions on your boat, or just advertizing your product, then say so!
