and yours Angel. Looks very flat, very English, apart from the boat name, (which I can't quite make out!) So.... Netherlands? :D

To confirm myself on the previous teaser.....

The attachment shows this spot on the west side of Store Okseø which is the east island. Here is the Google Maps link to both islands.

But I'm wondering about the bikers, and why the food supply by air? Please tell us Richard.....?

Good Luck to everybody with the new one :)

    Cheers!

What is the curled white line in front of the boatsheds on Google Earth? a boom of some kind? a huge hawser? or a white hair on the camera lens?:D

Dont you think Store Okseo looks like a huge water flea? (Daphnia)

The name is Okseøerne which means Ox Islands. Nomen est omen, so I would expect oxen there....

But the circumference form, yeah that looks a Daphnia

    But, don't play around..!!

    Work on my teaser . . . . :D

    Good Luck!

Right Angel The Ox Islands. There are no cattle anymore but a boatyard and a "Kro" (Restaurant / Cafe).

The food supply by air was necessary last winter due to the ice situation. Too much for the boat, but not thick / stable enough to walk on it.

The biker meeting is in Sønderhav every tuesday, (Annie makes the best hot dogs in the world), the little village where the ferryboat to Ox øy goes.

The steamers do a race in that picture, it starts in Flensburg port and goes to the islands and back. Every other year is the "All Steam" festival in Flensburg.

Yes Tiny, Fl. is the Homeport for Carmelan (as for "Dagmar Aaen" the polar expedition boat of Arved Fuchs).

    Regards
    Richard

The boat name in Angels teaser could be "Obeliks" ? That means the fish boat is´nt German (it would be "Obelix" then), but the little harbour seems to be Danish or German. (west coast)

    Thanks, Hoyt!

Angel - play around - me? you must be thinking of someone else :)
in the picture... possibly a dyke in the background, and a sluice...
possibly a windmill on the skyline....

Nomen est omen is lovely. So much better than 'the clue's in the name'.

It may be unkind of me, but I've always been tickled by TV reporting of flooding in the local area, and they are interviewing people saying things like 'I've just moved into the area and I never expected this' and they are reporting from Pool in Wharfedale, or someone is sweeping out the cellar of 'the Riverside Restaurant' in York. Nomen est omen.
would you buy a house in a place called Midge hole? ;)

I passed there often but I took the fish boat pic from the web so I don't know the boat name either. Maybe you guys can tell me . . :D

    Neither Danish nor German . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

    Good Luck!
