RC Airboat project

I'm making an RC airboat for my Design and Technology at school, I need to find some real useful information on boat engines, hull information real quickly. Could anyone help please?

I recently built an rc airboat for the fun of it from scratch. For the hull, I got 3/4" thick styrofoam sheets and epoxied them together to form a block about 2 1/2" thick. After that, I shaped it to where it has slightly curved sides, and a slightly curved bow. I then covered it in fiberglass (about 2 layers). For the engine, I simply used a Thunder Tiger .42, and engine that had come off of one of my radio controlled airplanes. I made an aluminum mount for it, which aslo holds up the fuel tank, and the throttle and rudder servos. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask and I'll do my best to answer them.
