help with outdrive

    hi im new to the forum.

    im looking for all the help i can get on the right outdrive
    i have been told to only use the volvo duel prop..
    but no one can tell me witch one.
    i have a 26' stamas hardtop and i am putting in a cummins 4cyl.
    turbo diesel with about 200hp

    Mercruiser uses Cummins engines so it should be a straight hookup. With Volvo you will have to make adaptors. Diesel outdrives have an epoxy coating in the exhaust because of the more corrosive fumes.

    Go with the Merc unit. They are inexpensive, reasonably reliable, not a lot toys & whistles and your grandmother knows how to work on them.
