    Start with a few books

    Principles of Yacht Design by Lars Larson and Rolf E Eliasson. International Marine, 1994

    The Nature of Boats by Dave Gerr, International Marine

    When you've looked at those then do a search on Amazon on boat building, or yacht design, or naval architecture
