My Grandfather said something to me long ago-
"It don't matter how right you are, if you mess with a skunk, you still end up stinkin'."
I tried communicating with mig- now I stink.

    My dad told me,
"If you think ill of someone, remember everyone is your superior in that you may learn from them."
Obviously we aren't going to learn anything technically about sailboat design/engineering from mig.
It took me a while, but it finally learned from mig the personification of a fool. I don't think I've ever really come across one before- at least to the extent that all other comparisons pale into ambiguity.

    Reemul,

Do not let those thugs Tripp Gal and Hubby turn you to the dark side. The greatest kindness they can show you is to stay away. They consider you one of their crew and are incapable of recognizing that you are the captain your own sail boat, an equal, and soon to be better. To them you will always be ignorant and untrained - even untrainable. If they shun you because you show kindness to me, they have done you a favor.

http://www.eskimo.com/~mighetto/murrelet.htm for those who which to keep informed on the views of mighetto. If there is a meltdown of this forum, look there for a link to a TikiWiki or other forum where further analysis of the TP52s will continue. Its a big web and a big sea. Captains such as we can always find homes in them. Today I hoist the flag of anarchy and claim it in battle. Tomorrow, we rebuild, elswhere if necessary.

Let the purge begin. This is so sad.

    Monsieur Mighetto!

We're have you been, my Liege? We have been searching the globe for you. Many new things have been developing in the compound here in Valencia.

The first is that we have hired two new brilliantly experienced sailors to replace that turncoat Mr. Coutts who so rudely left our employment taking your sister with him. *******! But I digress. These two newcomers are Ros Forrest and Dal Harper. They will bring much needed insight on all aspects of racing to our team once they are released from jail. (Seems they tried to circumscribe the Oregano importation rules in this blasted country!)

Secondly, the new 85HP "Whomper" project has moved into the second phase of testing and we are happy to announce that we have broken the 19 MPH speed barrier!

And lastly, I have been having a grand time traveling the world with your Mrs. Frank. I am totally enamored with her and she with me. You being out drumming up support for our racing/planning/clorox bottle theories has made the woman lonely. It is good the Guy could step in and soothe her needs, yes? I thank you for this gift. She is truly a wonderful, exciting and erotically experienced woman. The things she can do in the backseat of the corporate Lear Jet would astound you! But I digress again...

That is all for now Mon Capitain! Please stay away as much is needed.

So Frank have you’re told these good folks about the legal problems that you have brought upon your self? I believe at last count that you have what? 3 defamation and slander charges? And how about being banned from your clubs own bulletin board, also the fact that the SSSS board took away your SSSS email account, and the membership is trying to get you removed. And lastly that your marina had to evict you due to numerous grievances by other tenants.

one parting shot, fat body. tripp gal and hubby thugs? har har dick face. the greatest kindness they can show. . . ? I know the greatest kindness they have shown you. . (aside from tripp gal originally offering you a ride and offering to serve as a race committee for your stupid little boat) the greatest kindness is acknowledging that your worthless bull-**** filled life even exists. At least they come here to insult you. right *********? Jim Teeters, the Farr family, and all the others you talk about don't even realize who you are or what your warped rat turd sized mind thinks you understand. Your attempts to start some sort of movement haven't even been thwarted by them because they realize you are so utterly useless that you are unworthy of their time. You have been offered advice and spoken to sailors far superior than you and have not taken it. Mckee and Perry both recommended Tasars. Did you buy one? Did you take lessons?

**** NO you didn't frank because you might have to come to admit that all of your ****** up ideas mean **** in real world application. by all means get on a boat that planes and learn to sail. hell i would even be proud of your worthless ***. but you won't. we know that.

if this rumor monger character is correct (and i hope to christ he is) maybe you will get up to your nuts (you have those right) in legal battles and fees that you will have to stop this lunacy. how does it feel to have so many people around you think that you are a complete ******* jerk. seriously frank you have long passed the annoying clueless fat middle aged man threshhold. now you are just an *******. you can't share information with your own club online and if you truly have gotten kicked out of your own marina. . . then, well i will probably just have to start sportin' a chubby right here at my desk.

by all means frank tell the good people on this board, who were kind enough to provide your delusions a home for awhile, some more of your "theories" another personal favorite of mine was that Tripp Gal was a "secret agent" of US sailing sent out to the PNW to spread the "old ways" of sailing. paranoia at its finest. share more with us frank, please.

actually just sell your goddamned boat slit your wrists or start your car in your garage. whatever. . . i really don't care. just stop talking about sailing until you actually start doing it. throw all the books away, quit going to club meetings, stop saying "huzzah", stop defaming people, stop stalking people who you have no interest in learning from, and for the love of god learn to ********** or rekindle a romance with your wife. i realize for you that these forums are a sort of ************ but you might find the real thing more enjoyable. if romance with a female is still an option for you please read up on birth control (this is definitely not an area for you to start developping new "theory") we don't want you reproducing.

good bye again frankie. see you in the funny papers. nut bag.

Whats up? I wasn't expecting to find 13 pages alive and well.

Well I suppose we preserve what we can.

What matters is that advisors to consumers, who are wise, will search the web and find discussion involving TP52s; how they were marketed and hyped, whose businesses were impacted, and they will come away with questions. The big question on TP52s being financial risk. If the boats really were as hot as implied by the advocates would they need to be hyped as Transpacific vessels when by the numbers they are protected water buoy racers? No one is expected to remember the name mighetto. I do expect them to remember Tasars and Mac26x cruisers. The only lessons I have had on Tasars were at the Worlds and they were dockside only. However, lessons are available at Shilshole in the summers and I intend to attend. You do not need to purchase a boat.

CB, we plane my boat regularly.

    Again pure false hood.

There are two theories on Tripp Gal. The first is that she started the largest thread in the history of SA to support Jim Teeters. She, if she be a she and if she be but one person, worked on behalf of a law firm using Teeters as an expert witness or some how was associated with supporting Teeters, perhaps through US Sailing. Her "morbid curiosity" in my ride - to use her words, are the only explanation she has ever given. There have been at least three people claiming to be Tripp Gal and she has supporters. The second is that she makes her money at a US Sailing accredited school and that the modern sailing style is objectionable to her because her students ask about it. Teeters helped develop the materials used at such schools. They cover only 1/4 of what is necessary to be competitive internationally in the sailing sport and do more harm than good IMO. I think CB always liked this photo of her and is one of the supporters in her fan club.

The above are the results of lessons from Tripp Gal. We do not need this kind of trophy kid training in the sport. Fortunately, keel boat training must be unlearned before a sailor can be retrained to be competitive Internationally

good bye again frankie. see you in the funny papers. nut bag.

Promises Promises. I will always respond when I can. You will never be ignored CB. Please do not talk about slitting rists. It really worrys many. Blame your trainers. They have done you much wrong, to have you think the way you have posted.

French man from J dock. Stop, the woman pretenting to be my wife in Europe is actually a man. A cute one but now that you have been warned, turn your attention immedately to the bad French wine now being imported into the US. There is huge need for quality control in that country! We will send you an expert from UC Davis. In the mean time stock the wine bildges with Washington (and Californian) wines only. The sister and Mr. Coutts are working with Koch and the Sea Coutts here in the Americas. They are not romantically linked. However, I did like the joke. Doyle is sponsoring Team Kiss Me Arse, are you certain that you still wish to work for free.

    NA from Maryland.

Try commenting on my comments rather than what my fans say about me. Or confirm the math that has been given regarding TP52s. I seriously doubt many NAs and designers on the east coast are capable of designing a competitive GP RWP sailboat. It will take a few years to get the expertise already to be found on the West Coast of the US. You all didn't trick Bill Lee into moving to the wrong about sailing coast for nothing. You need an image change big time. You can learn a few things from the perspective I offer. Seriously. What have I presented that is wrong? Step one on the path of recovery is to through out everything Teeter. Reengineer.

Mate, everthing you have posted has been wrong so far. Seems to me like you are the one you needs clearing out. Several of us on here have either been part of the build, design, or testing process for various TP boats. Two of us are performance dinghy sailors as well, so what gives? What experience in design, racing, offshore experience, or construction do you have? What is in your resume that makes you such a self-proclaimed expert?

    Lucus,

I am a management consultant. I have seen more than I care to of inappropriate business shinanigans and am expert only in that area. But it is enough to comment from a business man's perspective. I also have been active on the net since it was Arpanet and have survived more flame wars than I can remember. Consider the following:

Hello mighetto, Tripp Gal has just replied to a thread you have subscribed to entitled - TP52s - in the Sailboats forum of Boat Design Forums.

    This thread is located at:
    http://www.boatdesign.net/forums/showthread.php?t=5471&goto=newpost
(please click the above link to reply on the forum itself - do not reply to
    this email)

Here is the message that has just been posted:

    ***************
Leave me out of your discussions. I have given you every chance to handle this like a true sportsman, on the water. I have been to almost every race this season, where have you been? You could have entered the Vashon race, and shown us how you make your wife run to the bow to "break out on a plane". You want to run me down? Fine, do it while sailing, show me how good you are rather than by posting lies about good sailors and people such as Bill, Jim, Bruce, and Bob. The sailing world is a small world and karma really does exist.

TP52's are great boats which I would go anywhere on without a question to their safety in construction or design. Your maniacal rantings imply that the designers and builders are not doing their due diligence regarding the safety of the yacht. Horse apples. If you had any significance they would have sued you by now for libel. Lucky for you that you aren't a blip on their radar. You finally agree TP52's plane. You acknowledge there is no such thing as TP53 or that the SC52 is the same thing as a TP52, thank God. Now, when we can get you to agree a variety of other large boats plane we are getting somewhere.

If we could EVER convince you that your ballast system is not the same as or as effective as Dark Star's that would be a milestone. Then the day when you stop thinking your boat is like Mirabella, a lifeboat, a mini-transat, and a Taser all wrapped into one little package we will be getting somewhere too. But until then the Murrelet is a ship of fools and the captain happens to be you.Coincidence? I think not.

We need not be like apes in an Internet community. My hat is off to the developer's of boatdesign.net. You have survived the worst possible of attacks. Lucus, if you want more than you can find out about me on the web, please contact me at mighetto@eskimo.com. I would like this thread to keep on topic.

The topic is TP52s, the good the bad and the ugly. Karma, yea. Weep oh Tripp Gal, you can not delete. CB and DD. Interesting. From the babbling comes something of value. I will address Tripp Gal tomorrow. Other business involving Stan Honey and his apparent repositioning of TP52s for PHRF and IMS will have to wait until next week.
