Standardisation is the key to industrial development.
The more devices are compatible, the more they will be accepted and used.
So the more they will create Jobs, and bring us solutions, to our needs.
An example in the high tech industry:

    Here and now
A fuelled electric generator is the most awaited item for stationary and mobile applications to link with renewable resources.

I agree, Ape X, your connection with our world, is very close to perfection.

Anyway, the common interest, above all personal considerations.
Apex, thanks for your "visionnaire" opinion.

Are there any Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, or MIT, MBA graduate, sailors, or boat designers, that can try to enrich a little Apex 's contribution ?

Oh what a beauty, fully compatible with the WROM! May I suggest that we honor the master of drivelling, the drivel artist and guru Kistinie by naming the universal drivel unit after him. In order to display the mediocre drivelling produced by the rest of us on the same instrument, the scale would have to be logarithmic.

So, lets unite on the common unit "dK" (deciKistinie). It is just an unfortunate coincidence that it is pronounced "dekay", so any associations to the mental status of the priest of drivel is unintentional........

I´m happy he did not mention my Alma Mater!

Very good idea Baeckmo! And "dk" is for sure the appropriate acronym in this case!:p

Normaliser et unifier via des ISO ou SAE... est l'inverse de, diviser pour mieux régner

Great, i did not realized that the actual generator offer to fill up batteries was normalised to that point.

Wonderfull ! I can swap any industrial generator by any other one in a minute.
    Exhaust connection hardware is standard
Physical templates for tightening to the boat or car are the same.

Of course any motor can fit any alternator of it's class.
Like this for the maintenance i can choose any brand or manufacturer to repair my generator.

Very sorry FcFc, i did not noticed that normalisation was already the case for industrial products, especially, for direct battery connection generators.

For consumer market like leisure boating or individual cars, it is not the case, but who cares of these idiots sheep ?

Hopefully the 2 million € HYMAR Team received from us, European citizens, for writing the new ISO, will bring the awaited improvements.
