hey guys, I'm new to the forum and I am novice when it comes to boat design/building.

I'll be honest..I'm taking my hand at online marketing and a certain product that I am promoting has me interested in this once again.

The only water craft I own is a canoe that I found in the woods. It had a bunch of holes in the hull. I sure do take pride in my fix up job where I used fiber glass to patch it up. Then I smoothed it down with a lot of sand paper and painted it. now I have a fully functional canoe that I even put new seats in!

I'm pretty poor so I don't get much of a chance to operate any multi-thousand dollar motor powered water craft. But I do get to have a lot of fun paddling down the Hillsborough river here in Tampa!

Welcome to the forum. Maybe I'll see you on the Hillsborough River! Where do you usually put in?

You better look again. There is a box on a post with the honor system at the Morris Bridge park. You could get a fine for ignoring it. I launch at Sargeant Park on U.S. 301, also. There is no fee at that park.

Mathew, I don't want to hurt your feelings, but I believe the software you are promoting is a ripoff of Delftship, which was written by one of my forum friends from The Netherlands. You better check into it before you get a huge embarrassment. I have Delftship on this computer and it is virtually identical to, and precedes 3dboatdesigner. You probably didn't know. The issue has been discussed at length in this forum.

Sargeant Park is 3.5 miles north of Fowler Ave. on U.S. 301.

Thanks again for looking out Hoyt...I just stumbled across this program and have already sold a few copies. I don't know much about any of this boat stuff and thats why I'm here. Aside from the canoe, Marketing this product is what has gotten me interested in the boat design stuff.

Now I may just have to throw this one in the water and promote Delftship instead. If there is a superior product I sure don't want to be promoting something that isn't the best. but now after taking a look at the website it doesn't even look like they have an afilliate program. oh well....Atleast I learned something by joining this forum. man i hate rip offs, and especially to find that i'm promoting one....uck!

Thanks for saving me from embarrassment
