I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and express my interest in the position of Naval Architect.

I have graduated from the Faculty of Ocean Engineering and Ship Technology, at Gdansk University of Technology in Poland (2004). Upon graduation, I was awarded a Master’s of Science degree. Since commencing my studies and employment, it has been my goal to obtain a job that would allow me to continually develop my knowledge about ship design.

During my studies, my specialization was in the design of small ships and yachts. My diploma project was “A Preliminary Proposal for a Luxury Seagoing Sailing Yacht for 6 People”. In addition to my Diploma Project, during my studies I completed many different projects and exercises which were concerned with the design, fabrication and construction of both sailing and motor boats. As a result of these projects, I am familiar with structural calculation; including the following classification guidelines: Polish Register of Shipping , Germanischer Lloyd, ABS, Lloyd’s Register

I have been working in the Yacht Studio Strawinski s.c., located in Sopot, Poland since November 2003, having commenced my employment during my studies. This is a design and construction company in Poland that makes aluminum and steel sailing and motor yachts. During my employment I have assisted in the design of a 27m & 20m classic sailing yacht, 20m modern sailing yacht, 15m & 17m classic motor boat and 7m fast motor boat. These projects have given me a significant amount of practical knowledge about the design and construction aluminum yachts.

Since January 2007 I have been been working for Genfer Lloyd Sp. z o.o. Gdansk. During my employment I made workshop, as built and detailed drawings for steel ships & platform.
