    Hi Guys

GRC are not a big name in the NA software world, being mostly used in defence market, but I'm really keen to get user feedback to help our product development and keep it focussed on what you need - this honest forum would appear to be a great way of keeping in touch with your needs and frustrations!

There are a few discussions about hull form generation in here - Paramarine V6.1 has a new methodology for hull form generation which is available for a demo if you want it, generally free for three months.

I need to correct some of the pricing discussion thats been going on as well - it is a bit off the mark - it entirely depends on what you want as Paramarine is a modular product and you pay for what you need, nothing else. If you want the full on capability of Paramarine, the prices discussed elsewhere in this forum are about a maximum, but basic modelling, stability and hydrostatics and our new hull form generation is a great place to start, much lower price and pretty affordable. We have a comprehensive sliding scale, providing discounts for number of modules, years and seats purchase. The more advanced capabilities really add huge value and can save you money tomorrow. Some of our users have been doing really sophisticated synthesis activities and optimisation - get in touch if you are interested.

We have also included a dynamic excel interface, a hypermesh interface and FORAN interface for concurrent working - so we hope we can save a bunch of time in moving between your chosen tools as efficiently as possible.

    Paramarine Demo

    Hi

Unfortunately we are a small business and will not 'hand out' demo's to students. Our academic policy is to provide academic licenses directly to insititutions for a nominal fee. This provides some control over the license and its use and provides a direct contact for us at a permanent location.

I hope you understand our position.

    many thanks

    The Paramarine Team
