One of the sessions at the Symposium will be dedicated to Dr. Daniel Savitsky.
Dr. Savitsky has been active in the field of high-speed marine craft hydrodynamics for 70 years. His landmark paper, "Hydrodynamic Design of Planning Hulls", published in the very first (1964) edition of SNAME's Marine Technology, is well known to all in the field. We especially encourage Dr. Savitsky’s present and former colleagues and students to attend and to consider presenting a paper at this session.
