    Steve,
The running cost of this Glastron will come in two parts. the statice costs - insurance harbour dues etc moorings launching fees etc. These will all depend upon your experience and location etc. I have a similar size boat and the total for these is around £1000 per year.
Then there is the fuel cost and servicing costs which depend upon hours per year. Consider the 3.0 litre to be like an old car engine - old technology and made for times and places when the cost of fuel was not an issue. A typical Granada or big Volvo will do 15 mpg or less at full throttle - 100mph. That is 6.67 gallons or 30 litres per hour. Yes that is £24.50 per hour at full throttle. Thus you keep the speed down a few mph and that will reduce the fuel by 30%, or if you come back to a ' just on the plane ' speed, you may halve it. But remeber that few boats of this type do better than 7 - 10 miles per gallon. servicing costs depend upon whether you are a DIY man or a pay £35 per hour at the dealer.

    Good boating

The 3.0 is based on a GM block. It is very reliable. The idle is a bit rough due to the high performance camshaft. They also need the trottle pumped a few times for cold weather starting.
