No come off it man. SCOTCH ! Good grief. WHy don't you develop some character and switch to vitamin B and C (Brandy & Coke) for a change. The KWV 3 and 5 year is like cooldrink.... one should have a spare at any time as a backup just in case. One never knows what can happen and you need it, which can be anything

Oh nooooo. why dilute a perfectly good drink with toxic waste (otherwise known as "Coke"?), - - at a pinch some water (in the form of ice-blocks) but that addictive (full of caffene) black **** is just NOT ON....

 

I remember a television program, talking to a scott about wiskey, the reporter asked, "Do you want something in your wiskey", the scott answered, "nah, just another one!".

 

Or another way to put it; "Just a little, at the top of the glass".

just recently i did a bourbon taste test-a-thon.
tried every different bourbon i could lay my hands on. ultra expensive, old, cheap everything.

surprisingly,
the very cheapest bourbon won hands down.

the japanese high tech scientific modern cheapest product was fantastically better than the traditional, aged in oak drivel expensive stuff.

much smoother, no crappy tastes at all (removed by science)

i definitively say the cheapest bourbon you can find will absolutely taste the best.

(AND i'm prepared to do the taste test all over again if there's any doubt)




also;
truly, ignore scotch all together.

try
irish whiskey,
(start with tullamore dew in the crock, not bottled.)

i say the same thing about irish whiskey. much better than ANY scotch. (rain water ice only)

try doing an extensive taste test on the irish whiskeys V scotch, and i'm sure you'll agree. i say it's chalk and cheese.

i had to go on stuff called, funny? my memory is all blurry round this time. hmm. oh well, you'll be muchin them suckers like crazy.

(for bleeding stomach ulcers. (the pain was phenomenal!)

 

can anyone recomend a good whisky

I am new to this only signed up yesterday to get a a redeisgn for my rudder. But to the point. Poit Dhubh is Gaelic for Black pot. A very beautifull whisky. An illicit one in days gone by. Suspposedly a fishermans whisky according to my grizzled old Scottish navigator.
