Wanna find the place of the keel

I have been working on a design of 9 meters sailing yacht and I have a ready keel calculated for me. But I cannot find any way of calculation to fins the place of the keel.

Need urgent help please!!!!

How did you work on a "design" without the basic knowledge?

 

How did you get a keel designed if they didnt know where to put it!

What kind of keel - how big etc etc etc

Hey, mount the keel on a rail under the boat then you can adjust it to suit.

 

Look up lead (pronounced leed) of sail COE over hull CLR in one of the yacht design books such as "Principles of yacht design" Do you have it ?

If not and this is a student project than just put the keel so that the total hull and keel CLR is around 14% of the waterline length behind the sail COE. If its a fractional rig try 12% but best to read some contemporarary yacht design books.
