I have recently qualified as a boat building tradesperson, having completed my 4 year apprenticeship with Riviera Marine Construction. Unfortunately as noted by the media, Riviera have downsized due to the economic Situation. During my apprenticeship I enjoyed working on luxury yachts including the 36f to 70f fly bridge ranges. During my final year I was responsible for the fit out of the new 58f sports yacht.
During my apprenticeship I worked on a range of luxurious sports yachts up to $5 Million, 70f Fly Bridge.

Riviera Had an excellent training program that allowed me to rotate trough the various departments and gain experience overall. During my last year I enjoyed responsibility for the fit out of the new luxury 58 Sports Yacht. This required perfectionist craftsmanship of fit out. I completed the Galley (Kitchen), Cabins, Saloon and Deck. This made use of various exotic and hardwood carpentry.

I am Confident that my skills and high standards of craftsmanship could be applied to boat construction, detailing and joinery construction fit out work.

Due to my previous AutoCAD Experience, I also complete CAD Drawings for new yacht companies and drawings for the drawing department. This gave me a distinctive advantage and the opportunity to communicate with management for the development of new concepts and design drawings.

I am a Loyal, Honest and hardworking person. I enjoy the practical hands on trade work, with the advantage of having design and drafting abilities.
