which transit 2.5 td is best

    Hi i am looking for info on marinising a 2.5 td transit engine to fit my fletcher 21ft . which motor is best and hopefully trouble free . i have a merc z leg so what type of conversion plate will i need . i have the use of a miller and lathe so tools will not be a problem . All advice will be welcome

    no defender uses the ford unit ( modified for use at high angles)
