Wood Strip Canoe Supplies

    I know that in my area we have several small outfit lumber mills that will cut just about any type of wood locally available to your specs and for a better price than most of the suppliers that I have researched online. It seems to me that cutting your own strips would involve a lot of waste and be very time consuming as well. As one of my friends always ask when I talk about doing things myself: "How much is your time worth?" Time spent cutting strips yourself is time that could be spent on your boat.

    I did find a good Delta tablesaw at a thrift store of all places for only $125 so if you do look around you might find a deal.
