    Bristol Harbor Group, Inc. (BHGI) is seeking a SENIOR NAVAL ARCHITECT.

    BHGI is a full service design and engineering company located in Bristol, Rhode Island. BHGI was founded by University of Michigan naval architects in 1993 and has been continuously providing engineering support to both vessel builders and owners since its inception.

    Recent and current projects include design and engineering of a 600-passenger ferry, a 129 ft high-speed catamaran ferry, a 40 ft motor yacht, and the major conversion of an 82 ft sail training vessel. BHGI engineers have worked on projects ranging from 342 ft double hull oil barges to 18 ft skiffs, and we look forward to many exciting projects that are still over the horizon.

    The ideal candidate will posses:

    · B.S.E. degree in naval architecture and marine engineering
    · P.E. license in naval architecture and marine engineering
    · demonstrated interest in small commercial vessel design
    · thorough knowledge of AutoCAD
    · boating experience and interest
