I have been using Rhino( not Marine) for a while. I am wondering how it stacks up against Auto Ship. I was looking at getting some of the Rhino marine programmes in the future. Does any one have any advice on its strengths and weaknesses compared to Auto Ship and the other leading programmes?

    AutoHydro

I can only speak for the stability parts of RhinoMarine, compared to AutoHydro. For small boats it might do, since its easy to use, but even for small fishing boats I "must" use AutoHydro due to many loadcases, extracting of hydrostatics for different trims etc. I could be more specific, but if you are interested in tje hull design aspects I am wasting space on the forum.

Also there is Orca to consider as an add-on for Rhino, who claims to be the people who were RhinoMarine.
