I am building a pedal boat, useing a 10 foot dingy, I received some info on props, still looking for more info- Thank You. Now I need info on where I can find, purchase a gear box.
No reduction is needed I am going to use a combination of bike sprockets for reduction/step up, the gear box I want to use should have 1/2 inch shafts at 90 degrees of each other ( 2 or 3 inches shaft lenght)- one on right side- and one pointing to rear ( stern ) of the boat, and must be able to bolt to base plate from the bottom.Would be nice if the gear box splines were available with chain sprocket attached, or I can machine it to accept a sprocket. Anyone with a web site address that I can check with ?- please mail me.Thanks. RUSTY

I would look at the lower ends of scrap outboards.
