Catboats

    I'm not a designer nor an expert sailor. Is the Catboat an obsolete design? I have looked at them up to 20 feet and they look like a good stable cuirser. The wide beam and shallow draft makes this an ideal boat for cruising. Any opinion on this design. Is this capable blue water boat?

    Cat Boat

    From Annapolis Nova Scotia from fellow boat builder a Cat Boat is not a blue water design try a cutter
